Milan Design Week 2012, Benjamin Hubert, born in 1984, British, child prodigy of the international design, designs Juliet: the chair symbol of the centenary of Poltrona Frau, winner of the design contest launched by the company during its first hundred years. The designer was inspired by the fashion and captures a detail, puffed sleeves, which used to give shape to a new concept of chair, strongly marked in design.

Traditional wooden structure, the narrower the base, widening to puff in the session. Here the rich reinvents the classic quilted jacket in a contemporary soft, free, enriched by an original sewing pleats for the interior to recall the embroidery and the wrinkling of bodices and sleeves women, creating a pattern that moves the faceted surfaces. With a complexity of performance that embodies the craftsmanship of the artisans of Poltrona Frau. The result is a very comfortable first sight. Feelings of relaxation and abandonment, given by the free play of folds and seams.

The structure is made of solid beech base with birch plywood. The seat is made with elastic straps. The padding in the seat and back is made of polyurethane foam and polyester wadding. The upholstery is in Pelle Frau ® leather and exclusive Pelle Frau ® Century and is enhanced by an innovative design stitched pleats on the inside of the seat and backrest.
