Porada, Italian leader in the production of furniture made of solid wood, was founded 1948 by Luigi Allievi, then handed down to his sons. Thanks to the polished essentiality of its creations the Company immediately stood out in the furniture industry. Porada has deep roots in the local craftmanship and in the warm domestic environment. The current production process maintains the centuries‐old tradition of the wood processing, keeping solid wood as its first choice.
Through generations, Porada never lost its ability to harmonize entrepreneurial skills with family and tradition values, managing to find the perfect balance between classical and modern.
Porada is based in the “Brianza” economic environment, an area famous for the presence of many wooden‐furniture manufacturers. An evident proof of the close connection with the territory is the name itself of the Company: Porada is the name of a small area of Cabiate, the village where the Company is situated.
